Breaking Binaries (Beta)

My practice is rooted in influences from nature, science fiction, and environmental exploration. Inspired by coral forms, mycelium networks, and marine life structures, I create abstract sculptural and immersive installations that engage in world building, in a similar manner as science fiction authors. Beyond this structure for fabricating work, I use Donna J. Haraway’s Cyborg Manifesto as jumping off point for my practice. Breaking down the artificial walls that divide nature, technology, and humanity, I explore how a post-disciplinary practice can explore the visible ecosystems and invisible systems that connect us and alienate us from each other.
