Coral Restoration

With warming water temperatures and ocean acidification, our planet's corals are experiencing mass bleaching events at an alarming rate. The conditions necessary to sustain healthy coral ecosystems and foster coral colonies are becoming increasingly difficult to achieve amidst the changing climate. Consequently, we are confronted with new challenges in our efforts to sustain them. Initiatives worldwide are underway to combat coral bleaching, yet with the ever-growing impact of climate change, these efforts face formidable obstacles. Through technology and biological innovations, conservation groups and marine biologists are finding ways to save our corals, but is it too late?
